ORDERING

 


PAYMENT:

 

We can take payment by credit or debit card though our online shop. Our card payments are either processed by Sage Pay or Paypal depending which you choose.

 


SIZING:

 

The sizes in the size chart are given as a guide, if you are concerned about the sizing on an item you wish to buy please get in touch and we can take measurements from the garment and let you know. You can find our sizing page here.

 


OUT OF STOCK:

 

If an item you have ordered is out of stock you will be refunded and we will inform you by email that we have sent you a refund.

 

 

MADE TO ORDER GARMENTS:

  I make all the "made to order" items by hand myself, during very busy periods like black friday, Christmas and new year I may be very pushed to meet deadline, if you need your garment for a certain date please dropan email to orders@missfortune.co.uk to discuss your requirments. 

Usually you will need to allow up to 7 days extra before your order can be shipped.

When you order a made to order garment your card will be charged straight away as with any other order.


  PRE-ORDER GARMENTS:
 

When you order items offered on pre-order your card will be charged straight away as with any other order.

If you order items that are in stock along with pre-order items all items will be shipped together when the pre-order item is ready.

I do my very best to meet the dispatch dates stated in the pre-order items, unfortunately as with all things in life, sometimes unexpected things go wrong.  If there is a change to the expected date I will endeavour to keep customers updated and if any customers are unhappy with a change in expected dispatch date they will be offered a refund.

 

 


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

 
  • * Buyers MUST contact us before returning an item.

    * Please include your order number in your email. 

    * Please use the returns form that is sent out with your order.


  • * ITEM CONDITION: Items must be in the same condition as when we sent them with all tags and if possible the clear plastic packets some garments packaged in.

  • * TIME SCALE: Items must be returned within 30 days of the dispatch date.  Items that reach us outside of the 30 days may be returned to the customer.  If you think your item may arrive back late please contact us.

  • * POSTING AN ORDER BACK:
    - Generally, buyers are responsible for paying the cost of posting items back to us.
    - In the event that an items it being returned because it is faulty or an incorrect item has been sent out your postage costs will be refunded.
    - Buyers must get proof of postage from the post office in case the items should go missing in the post. If an order should get lost in the post when it is being retuned we cannot provide a refund or exchange without proof of postage.

  • * EXCHANGES:  If you would like to exchange an item please check with us before returning it that we have the item you want.

  • * REFUNDS:  If an item is returned for a refund we will refund the cost of the item(s) and the related shipping costs, unless the item is being returned because it is faulty in which case we will also refund you the cost that you have incurred returning the item to us.

  • * INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: We would be grateful if you could mark you parcel as a “RETURN” otherwise we have to pay unnecessary customs tax to receive the parcel.  It also slows the return process down.  Thank you :)

POSTAGE

 
GENERAL INFORMATION:


 


• POSTING DAYS: We post out orders Monday-Friday, we do not post out orders on Saturdays, Sundays or bank holidays. Most orders placed before 3pm are sent out the same day (except orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or bank holidays). Orders placed after about 3pm on a Friday won't be posted until the following Monday.

HOLIDAYS: Around UK public holidays check the website and social networking pages for updates on what days we are closed or unable to send out orders.

• SHIPPING CONFIRMATION: When your order has been shipped out you will receive an email notification to say it has been shipped - please check your spam box!

• CALCULATING SHIPPING: To work out what the shipping will be on an order just add the items you would like to the cart then use the "Estimate Shipping and Tax" box to work out the shipping before you order.

• WHAT IF YOUR ORDER HAS NOT ARRIVED?
If your order has not arrived after a few days or a week at busy posting times for year feel free to get in touch with us, we are always happy to help in locating where your order has got to, if we can. Please remember to check with neighbours to see if parcels have been left with them. It is also worth calling at your local sorting office with some ID and proof of address to see if they are holding it for you there but didn't not leave you a calling card.

POSTAGE OPTIONS ARE:

1st Class: 
should take 1-2 working days from posting, has no proof of posting, or tracking, or insurance.


•  1st Class Confirmed:
should take 1-2 working days from posting, has limited tracking and requires a signature on arrival.
(This is the service previously known as 1st Class Signed For)

•  Next Day:
should arrive on the next working day after it is posted (does not inculde Saturday or Sunday).
Cut off time for each day is 3pm. 
- items bought after 3pm on a Thursday:  Delivery will be Monday
- items bought after 3pm on a Friday:  Delivery will be on Tuesday

PRIVACY POLICY:

 


Payments taken thought the website are processed by Sage Pay or Paypal and as such we do not receive the credit/debit card details. In the rare occasion that payment details are taken by us directly and we process the payment ourselves the credit/debit card details will be shredded after the payment is processed so no payment details are stored.  Card payments are processed in accordance with local law.  Personal details/card details are never sold to third parties.
